Vacation Bible School at CBC is always an over-the-top experience where kids (ages 3 through 6th grade) can learn about Jesus through music, games, crafts, missions, and solid Bible teaching! Here are the plans for this year’s VBS…
Breaker Rock Beach – VBS 2024
Sunday, July 21-Thursday, July 25 – 6:00-8:00pm
For kids ages 3 through 6th grade
Every day will be an adventure at Breaker Rock Beach, from the morning waves crashing against the shore to evenings filled with bonfires and s’mores! Kids will learn to recognize the difference between what the world says is true and what God says is true. They will discover that God’s truth never changes, everyone needs Jesus, Jesus is the only way of salvation, and learn to speak the truth in love. Our theme verse is Romans 12:2(KJV)… “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Are you ready for our fun ocean adventure?!
NEW THIS YEAR: Parent/Grandparent Connection Group Activities
Parents and grandparents are invited to join us during VBS for a special time of fun activities and connection for just the adults! Drop the kids off then join us for a relaxing evening of games, refreshments, and a chance to get to know each other. We will be hosting three fun evenings in the church café!
Sunday Night – 7/21 – Parents Meet and Greet Trivia Night @ 6:00pm
**Do you enjoy a little competition and know lots of random facts? Then this night is for you!
Tuesday Night – 7/23 – Free Family Hot Dog Meal @ 5:30pm – Parents Game Night @ 6:00pm
**Join us for a free family meal at 5:30 before VBS! We will be serving hot dogs, chips, and drinks for everyone! No need to worry about what to cook, just arrive for VBS a little early, and let us take care of it. Parents, you are then invited at 6:00 to hang out around the table while we play some classic board games like Apples to Apples and Uno! Have a favorite game? Bring it along to share!
Thursday Night – 7/25 – Parents Ice Cream Social with Christian Entertainment @ 6:00pm
**Kids will not be the only ones who get to enjoy a sweet treat to wrap up the week! Build your own sundae, chat with new friends, sit back, relax, and have some good laughs watching some Christian Comedy!!
