Who We Are

We were created to worship our Creator, the God of the Universe. The Bible reveals that God is seeking true worshipers. This kind of worship is a way of life. It is not confined to a Sunday Morning, especially not to a song service.

When we gather as a congregation to worship the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, it is worship centered on the Cross of Christ. The Word of God is proclaimed. The songs, prayers, Scripture reading, preaching, even the offering are all acts of worship.

A Sunday morning service usually lasts about one hour and fifteen minutes. We have a blended service of hymns and contemporary music. To us, the words of the songs are more important than when they were composed. We sing songs that are rooted in Scripture. We do not put on a show, the congregation is not an audience, God is the audience.

Pastor Greg teaches directly from the Bible. His expository messages are easy to follow, very practical and last about 35 – 40 minutes. We are always glad when someone new chooses to worship with us at Community. We work to provide a friendly setting where the relevance of Scripture is clearly presented.

Community Bible Church exists to glorify God by producing mature followers of Jesus Christ. We do this by Proclaiming the Gospel at Community, Living out the Gospel in Community and Sharing the Gospel with our Community.
